A Nature Day Treat!

An Outdoor Adventure for Young Explorers at Wimbledon Common

A perfect adventure for 6-10 year olds

This Nature Day is designed to support what your child is already learning in school through the PSHE curriculum (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education).

Through outdoor play, creativity, movement, and quiet moments, we aim to help you and your children explore:

  • Tools to express and understand emotions: Discover how time in nature can help everyone feel calmer and happier. Simple nature-based ideas and techniques to help manage stress and big emotions that you can use at home.

  • New friends and increased confidence: Enjoy fun in a supportive environment, shared activities that give you space to be heard, listen, and connect.

  • Nature-inspired creativity: Create a picture, message or story using natural resources.

  • Differences and similarities in nature: Simple examples of how nature uses differences and similarities to thrive.
